Bannewitz
A 13 metre high rack provides a lot of storage room in the new building from the KBB Company in Bannewitz.
The new rack rises over 13 metre high and uses two floors of the new building. This storage room offers more than 1400 emplacements for palettes. “Therefore we always material in stock and we don’t depend on the market fluctuations”, says Thomas Nickl, director of productions at KBB (Kompressorenbau Bannewitz).
The company is based on the B170 at Bannewitz and has spread itself these past months with a new building that allows them to doubler their surface. The construction is already finished. “What matters now is to fill the building with life”, says the manager director Ulrich Kramer. In the new building the entrance and exit for the commodities are reunited. A big lift inside the building transports the commodities up to 9,5 tons. This year the new building will be commissioned. With the expansion of their surface the turbo chargers manufacturers also want to increase their sales. In five years, as Kramer plans, 3 000 turbo chargers will be produced. This would be linked to more job opportunities.
