During an official ceremony, in the presence of the mayor of Amberg, distinguished guests, as well as the shareholders and all employees of LH, two new induction furnaces were inaugurated at Luitpoldhütte GmbH. These furnaces, with a capacity of 12ton/hr, are part of a 7 million Euro investment program that was initiated when the Ogepar group acquired Luitpoldhütte in January 2016. With their significantly lower energy consumption, the additional capacity and the flexibility to produce a variety of alloys, these new furnaces allow Luitpoldhütte to even better serve its customers.
