In the presence of the Minister of Economics of Bavaria, Mr. Albert Füracker, and the mayor of the city of Amberg, Mr. Michael Cerny, Luitpoldhutte celebrated its 140 years of existence and tradition in the cast iron production sector.
It was an opportunity to look back on the history of the factory but also to talk about the new challenges and developments that are coming its way: continuing to improve productivity by automating production processes ever more, retaining and motivating members staff in key positions, reduce energy bills, reduce our environmental footprint in terms of noise, air and water pollution, and CO2 emissions.
